American musician and actor Awkwafina began her career with hilarious hip-hop tracks that addressed sexual identity and race with a boldly comedic perspective before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. After a classical and jazz education, she delved into hip-hop as a teen. In the end, she focused on her education. she was awarded an education in journalism at college and a women's studies specialization. The focus on music until after she finished her studies. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in the year 2012. It was eventually included on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. She opted to pursue acting as a profession after having completed her two previous projects, as an author and musician. In addition to early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored major roles in a variety of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
