Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, actress, American screen and stage actor and producer. She is most famous as a film actress for her roles on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue has a reputation as an American actress, producer and director who is employed in film and television. Aunjanue L. Ellis began her acting in theatre. In later years, she was a part in television programs in independent as well as mainstream film. The actress gained fame as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she received not just critical acclaim but also numerous nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional debut in the role of Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. The actress has appeared on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. She is most well-known for her work in Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. In the world of television, her role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her the praise of her fellow actors.
