Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March, 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die maker and factory worker. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten at age five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). Winner of Miss Crawford County, she also participated in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone and her aunt relocated out of New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in 1977. They joined the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. After spending a year living in Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. However, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling and modeling in Europe which led her to pursue acting while in the country. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," which received mixed receptions.
