In the issue of Vanity Fair from July 2003 it was reported that she was one of the top teenage stars of the entire year. In 2004, Vega recorded two films: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. The following year she was a part of the Lifetime television film Odd Girl Out, as a victim of cyber-bullying. In 2006, she appeared in another TV film made specifically for the screen, Walkout; and finished filming Remember the Daze, which came out in limited theatres on April 7, 2007. She finished filming Repo! The Genetic Opera was released in the year 2008 Aram Rappaport produced and wrote Helix in Chicago. Filming started in the month of March, 2008. She was originally cast in The 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, however, due to her being located in Australia during the production of Broken Hill, she had to be replaced. The actress was replaced by Kat Dennings. The actress appeared on Broadway in Hairspray in the role of Penny. She appeared in the 2009 film as she played Ruby Gallagher on the ABC Family television sitcom Ruby & the Rockits, with Patrick as well as David Cassidy. Vega portrays Wick on The Devil's Carnival (2012) the film of directors Darren Lynn Bousman, and Terrance Zdunich. They previously collaborated with Vega for Repo! The Genetic Opera. 12] In 2012, Vega played in the independent film 2br/1ba directed by Rob Margolies and co-stars with Spencer Grammer and Kathryn Morris. Vega has also appeared on The Pregnancy Project, a Lifetime Channel movie The Pregnancy Project and her animated film The Clockwork Girl was completed. The Mine was filmed by Vega in 2010. It was screened for only a short screening. Vega has also voiced Christina for the animated series Unsupervised. The actress was the guest star of Royal Pains. Vega was the character in Aerosmith's "Legendary Child" that was a music video. [13]
