Harry Edward Styles, born on February 1, 1994, in England, is an English artist and singer. His musical journey began in 2010 , when he appeared as only a contestant in The X Factor, a British music show. After being eliminated, he was brought back for the boy-band One Direction. The band remained on hiatus for an indefinite period, it became one the most popular boy bands ever. Styles Self-titled Solo Album came out on Columbia Records in 2017. It debuted at the top of the charts across the UK, the US, and the UK. It also was among the top-selling albums this year. "Sign of the Times,"" the lead single from the album, debuted at the top of in the UK Singles Chart. Styles' sophomore album, Fine Line (1999), was one of the most popular albums in America. This album was the highest first-week numbers of any English male musician. It was released in 2020 and made it into the Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The fourth single from the album, "Watermelon Sugar", placed first on the US Billboard Hot 100. Styles's third album Harry's House (2022), became a hit, and was awarded the Grammy Award for Album of the Year 2023. The lead track, "As It Was" was the top-rated song of the year in the world according to Billboard. Styles has received numerous accolades, including six Brit Awards as well as three Grammy Awards. He also won one Ivor Novello Award as well as three American Music Awards. The films he has appeared in comprise Dunkirk (2017) and Don't be worried Darling as well as My Policeman (both 2022).
